The Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) plans to train 50 Nigerian scholars on renewable energy as part of its intervention in the renewable energy sector, Daily Trust reports.
Around 30 scholars at MSc and 20 PhD levels will enjoy the scholarship sponsored by the Fund. Acting Executive Secretary of the PTDF Aminu Galadima disclosed this in Abuja on Monday in a welcome address he delivered at a seminar to address the future challenges of the energy sector.
PTDF is the government agency dedicated to developing, promoting and implementing petroleum technology and manpower development through research and training of Nigerians in relevant oil and gas fields.
