In pursuit of its optimal service delivery and customer satisfaction in all ramification, Eko Electricity Distribution Plc wishes to inform its esteem customers that our meter roll-out plan, the pilot scheme of which has been on for some time, has fully commenced.
Subsequently the alternative metering partnership between us and our customers, Credited Advance Payment Meter Implementation (CAPMI) which was earlier put in place for quick deployment of meters to willing customers has been stopped forthwith.
We have since stopped collecting payments or processing applications for meters under this scheme.
Further to this, we have embarked on massive deployment of meters to all customers who have paid for meters under the CAPMI scheme and we hereby use this forum to inform all who have paid and are yet to be metered to exercise a little patience as we have mapped out an all embracing plan that will ensure full metering of everyone that has paid under the now defunct CAPMI scheme within the shortest possible time.
We have also commenced an enumeration and area mapping plan programme preparatory to deployment of meter based on a phased program in all areas within our operational territory. In this regard, our men will soon be visiting customers’ premises for the exercise.
